Eligibility Criteria for the University of Adelaide Research Scholarship

To be eligible for the University of Adelaide Research Scholarship, applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:

  1. Applicants must be Australian citizens, permanent residents of Australia, or international students who are accepted as candidates for a PhD degree at the University of Adelaide.
  2. Excellent students who hold a Bachelor of Bioengineering, Biotechnology, or a degree in Chemical Engineering would be suitable and encouraged to apply.
  3. Having experience in laboratory work (protein expression, purification, etc.) will give the student a chance to be considered.
  4. Applicants with strong knowledge and experience in biotechnology, bioengineering, protein design or mineral processing, and chemical engineering will be considered.

  6. Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for a postgraduate research degree in the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering, and Technology (SET) at the Adelaide School of Chemical Engineering & Advanced Materials.

About the University of Adelaide Research Scholarship

The Adelaide Graduate Research School (AGRS) works under the leadership of the Dean of Graduate Studies, who also convenes the Research Education and Development Committee (REDC), which is in charge of research higher degree policy development, and has legal responsibility for the award of the degrees of Doctor of Philosophy and Masters by research.
