Oxford-Pershing Square Graduate Scholarships | Said Business School

Established in 2014, the Oxford-Pershing Square Graduate Scholarships provide up to five full awards covering the Master’s and the MBA degrees. Scholars can pursue any of the 1+1 MBA partnering programs and combine them with our MBA.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified international students looking for funding to study in the United Kingdom for the Oxford Pershing Square Scholarship for postgraduate studies.

Oxford Pershing Square Scholarship 2025 | Eligibility Criteria

Scholarships are awarded to individuals with/or who are:

  • Leadership potential is demonstrated through experience and motivation.
  • Intention to focus on addressing world-scale social challenges in their career, either in an existing organization or through the development of a new enterprise.
  • Academic achievement is demonstrated through degree results, GMAT or GRE scores, previous university prizes and awards, and other academic achievements.
  • Strong personal character, integrity, and commitment.
  • Articulated vision on how the Oxford 1+1 MBA will allow you to fulfill your objectives.
  • Ability to envision how to achieve scalable and sustainable solutions to these challenges
  • Articulated vision on how the Oxford 1+1 MBA will allow you to fulfill your objectives.
  • Applicants who apply to any full-time one-year Master’s course that is not currently part of the official list of partner 1+1 MBA program; and to the MBA (as a separate application).

Additional Criteria

You will be considered in order of priority for the scholarship:

  • New applicants to the Oxford 1+1 MBA program.
  • You must be admitted both to a 1+1 MBA partnering program and the MBA before being considered for the scholarship (applicants on the waiting list will not be considered).
  • Applicants admitted to both a full-time one-year master’s course that is not currently part of the official list of 1+1 MBA partnering programs, and to the MBA (as a separate application).
  • Current master’s students who have been admitted to the MBA and were not considered for the scholarship in the previous year.

Recipients are exceptional individuals who can demonstrate the potential and commitment to find scalable and sustainable solutions to world-scale social challenges.

You will benefit from a range of on-course opportunities such as attending prestigious conferences, termly events, and scholar community activities, a spring ‘trek’ to New York hosted by the Pershing Square Foundation, and mentorship opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria for Oxford Pershing Square Scholarship

To be eligible for the Oxford Pershing Square Scholarship, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Leadership potential is demonstrated through experience and motivation.
  • Required Language: English.
  • Academic achievement.
  • Eligible Countries: All world countries
  • Intention to focus on addressing world-scale social challenges in your career, either in an existing organization or through the development of a new enterprise.
  • Strong personal character, integrity, and commitment.
  • Articulated vision on how the Oxford 1+1 MBA will allow you to fulfill your objectives.
  • Ability to envision how to achieve scalable and sustainable solutions to these challenges.

How to Apply for the Oxford Pershing Square Scholarship?

Please follow the following application instructions to apply for the Oxford Pershing Square Scholarship:

  • To apply for the 1+1 MBA you must meet the entry requirements for both the Oxford MBA and your chosen Master’s.
  • Complete the MBA application form (selecting 1+1 under the program of interest), as well as apply to the partnering Master’s degree of your choice by the January 2024 admissions deadlines.
  • When submitting your MBA application, you will need to include a scholarship essay in addition to the required MBA essays. This year’s question is: ‘How do you intend to change the world? What does this tell us about you as a person?’ (Maximum 500 words)
