Types of Financial Aid

  • Tuition Fee Aid/Scholarships: PAU offers tuition fee aid to 15% of its students. Out of these, 5% will receive virtually full scholarships, while 10% will be granted partial scholarships.
  • Work-Study Program

Students on scholarships, as well as those seeking additional financial aid, can participate in the work-study program. This allows students to work various jobs on campus and receive payment for up to 20 hours of work per week.

  • Sibling Discounts

PAU offers generous discounts for siblings enrolled concurrently:

  1. First Child: Full tuition fee
  2. Second Child: 10% discount on full tuition fee
  3. Third Child: 50% discount on full tuition fee
  4. Fourth Child: 98% discount on full tuition fee

Other Options

In addition to need-based scholarships, we also offer financing options such as a parent payment plan and the opportunity to pre-pay tuition fees (subject to any increases that the University will implement later).

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a scholarship, candidates must display evidence of high academic achievement before and during their course of study as well as a need for financial assistance.

The required scholarship documents include:

  • Three months’ bank statements of business account (both parents, if applicable)
  • Letter of Employment (for both parents, if applicable)
  • Recommendation letter showing evidence and proof of lack of meaningful income (if not employed or in any business.
  • Three months’ salary slip (both parents, if applicable)

Application Deadline

The scholarship application period for the 2024/2025 academic session runs from 5th June 2024 to 5th August 2024. Make sure to submit your application within this timeframe.

FAQs for PAU Undergraduate Programs

  • What is the minimum entry qualification?

Five O’level credits in WAEC/ IGCSE/NECO/GCE or its equivalent.

The subjects for the corresponding courses are:

  1. Economics
  2. Accounting
  3. Business Administration
  4. English Language, Mathematics, Economics/Financial Accounting, and any other subject.
  • Is there a minimum age for admission?

A candidate must be at least 16 years old within the month that the session begins (for now, academic sessions at Pan-Atlantic University begin in October)

  • Do I need to select Pan-Atlantic University as my first choice when registering for JAMB?

Having Pan-Atlantic University as your first choice is not necessary to be admitted and if once the applicants who made PAU their first choice have been processed, there are still vacant spaces, other candidates can be considered.

However, if you are interested in studying at PAU, you are strongly advised to make it your first choice.

  • What do I need to score in my JAMB exams?

The minimum mark required in the UTME for admission to PAU in the session 2023/2024 is 220

  • How much does the Direct Entry / Transfer application form cost?

The cost of the application forms for either direct entry or inter-university transfer is N5,000 naira

  • Are there any considerations for the disabled in the admission process?

Disabled students are welcome to study at PAU. The only concern is that the disability of an applicant may not require special professional competencies or facilities that the University currently does not have.

  • What are my chances of getting a very good job after studying in your school?

PAU makes a lot of effort to provide efficient career services and entrepreneurial skills during and after the programs. However, we cannot guarantee jobs for students.

  • Do you have an internship program?

Yes, they have voluntary and compulsory internships. Besides the compulsory internship that students do during the long vacation after their third year, they endeavor to provide internship opportunities for all students who wish to do them, from the first year.
